- In the list the first 5 are in north kolkata and the last 5 in south kolkata. Now you have to understand there is a difference in culture of north kolkata compared to south, north kolkata is old kolkata so there the people are traditional which are refelcetd in the design of pandals. South kolkata is more modern and hence the pandals are more innovative or creative. During puja as the streets are flooded with people you can't cover both north and south in one day. Keep 1 night to visit north and 1 night to visit south. It's better to visit at night as you can see the lightings which adds up to the glamour. Best of luck and thanks to Sharell.
