6 Decent Delhi Paharganj Hotels

Possibly the best hotel in Paharganj, this new and modern boutique hotel has 53 guest rooms with sound proof windows and doors for a peaceful stay. No doubt this is necessary as the hotel is located in a rather congested area, around 800 meters from New Delhi Railway Station. However, it's clean and well maintained, with helpful staff and good buffet breakfast. If you're concerned about comfort in Paharganj, this hotel is the place to stay!

The Grand Godwin is another value for money mid-range option, located a couple of minutes walk from New Delhi Railway Station. It's attractively decorated and recently refurbished but some people have recently complained about poor service from some of the staff. It also has a 24 hour rooftop restaurant that serves an expansive buffet breakfast.

Hotel Hari Piorko is located around three kilometers from New Delhi Railway Station and is also close to a number of Metro stations. It has 39 clean and spacious rooms, with modern design. Some even have built-in aquariums! There's also an attractive rooftop restaurant. Do request a back room to avoid street noise.

This hotel with a quirky name is located in a relatively quiet street, just off the Main Bazaar. There's no shortage of marble or courteous staff in the hotel, and the rooms are kept clean although they're more kitsch looking than fashionable. Some are better than others. The hotel also has very similar, but newer, sister hotel called the Cottage Crown Plaza located just around the corner on the Main Bazaar.

Fast Internet, clean and modern bathrooms, conveniently located near the Main Bazaar but in a quiet location, caring and helpful staff -- what more could you want from a budget hotel? The S B Inn opened in 2012 and no doubt it will become one of the most popular budget options in Paharganj.

Hotel Rak International is a cheap but reliable option, with a backpacker buzz, for those traveling on a tight budget. It's clean and tidy with a wide range of rooms, all of which have street views. The biggest and best ones are on the upper floors. It's worth paying the extra as some rooms are a bit worn. Also check out the new Hotel Gush International next door.
