2. Khem Villas

Khem Villas

Khem Villas is undoubtedly the most popular place to stay near Ranthambore National Park. It calls itself a luxury jungle camp, and it's perfect for a romantic getaway. This stylish but unpretentious property has been lovingly created in a wilderness area by the owner, a keen tiger conservationist, on the outskirts of the park. Nature walks, village and jungle trips, and nighttime campfires are some of the highlights you'll be able to enjoy there. There are three types of accommodations. Rooms in the main building cost 9,500 rupees ($210) per night for a double, tents 14,000 rupees ($310), and cottages 17,000 rupees ($380). Rates include meals and tax.

3. Taj Vivanta Sawai Madhopur Lodge

The Sawai Madhopur Lodge is not your typical Taj hotel. The only only heritage hotel in the Ranthambore area, it's a former hunting lodge of the Maharaja of Jaipur that was built over 80 years ago. The Taj Group has been adding facilities and doing renovations since taking over the property, and it offers great value for money. The hotel is situated on expansive grounds not far from the train station in town. Expect to pay around $160 upwards per night for a double room, including tax and breakfast.
