Devi Niketan is a family owned and operated heritage hotel, situated in a quiet, central residential area of Jaipur. The hotel has fourteen rooms located over two floors, plus numerous shared spaces such as courtyard and rooftop. Baba Haveli is another inexpensive gem of a hotel in Jaipur. Its professional and efficient owner commenced his career as a simple taxi driver, which put him in touch with the needs of tourists. The really captivating feature of this hotel is the colorful hand painted murals all over its walls. The way the hotel has been decorated gives it a really appealing ambiance. Be sure to catch the spectacular view of the sunset over Jaipur from the rooftop restaurant! The only drawback is that the location, while quiet, is around 30 minutes from the Jaipur city center. Don't be discouraged though.
