Ganesh Pandal

This photo was taken inside one of the pandals (canopied tents) that are especially erected and beautifully decorated to house the Ganesh statues. These huge pandals can be found on roadsides and at the end of streets all over the city during the Ganesh Chaturthi festival. They're so peaceful and inviting, it's easy to forget the traffic and noise outside!
