Bangalore airport is the third busiest airport in India, with over 10 million passengers a year. It's a new construction that opened in 2008. The terminal is a single building for both international and domestic departures. It's designed for ease of operation and minimum maintenance. The airport has significantly improved its ranking this year to become a passenger favorite. It is a world class airport but does have a couple of drawbacks. There's nowhere to stay at the airport, and the location is around 2 hours from Bangalore city center.
