India celebrates her 64nd Republic Day on January 26, 2013, after gaining independence from British rule and adopting a republic constitution.
The highlight is the Republic Day Parade, which takes place in Delhi each year. Preparations have been underway, including a full dress rehearsal. Tickets for the parade can be bought up until 7.30 p.m. tomorrow, or else you can watch it live on the official Republic Day website.
