Although the monsoon got off to a slow start this year, it's at last picked up and is expected to cover the whole of India today.
According to this news report, monsoon rain fell in most parts of Punjab and Haryana yesterday. The weather bureau has predicted that Central India and the northern plains will get good rain in four to five days.
The amount of rain received is still deficient though. However, this has reduced to 23% from 31% a week ago.
We're getting quite a lot of rain in Mumbai at the moment, that's for sure. Right now, it's pouring!
