The weather bureau hasn't had much to say so far today, but to me, it feels like the monsoon has arrived in Mumbai. At around 9.30 a.m. this morning, the sky grew dark with anticipation, followed by a gust of cool wind and a thunderous warning. Then, it started to rain, a heavy saturating downpour. I opened the windows, and deeply breathed in the earthy scented air. It was divine and so refreshing!
This was the view of the monsoon rain from my bedroom window. The sky has remained gray and thunder has continued to rumble today, and it's rained on and off.
