If you're going to be in Jaipur over the next couple of days, you're in luck! You'll be able to catch the Teej Festival celebrations there.
For women, this means dressing up, getting mehendi (henna) applied to their hands, singing songs, and having fun swinging on swings. Jaipur also hosts a spectacular royal procession through the streets of the Old City.
The Teej Festival is celebrated all over Rajasthan, but most grandly in Jaipur. Find out more about the Teej Festival, and its meaning and rituals.
