There's nothing like a train trip to reveal normally unseen parts of a country. Therefore, those who appreciate train travel will love this week's blog carnival called "Tracks", put together by About.com's Guide to Honeymoons and Romantic Travel, Susan Breslow Sardone. Devoted to train travel, it brings together the best train trips around the world, where the journey is as revealing as the destination.

India certainly has plenty of exotic train journeys to offer. They're not restricted to long distance travel on Indian railways either. There are quaint toy trains that climb their way slowly through picturesque scenery to India's hill stations, and luxury trains that take guests on swanky tours to some of India's top attractions.
