The monsoon has arrived in Karnataka, in southern India, and it's been raining quite heavily there for the past couple of days.
I took this photo of the misty monsoon rain from my spacious cottage at Honey Pot Homes -- a comfortable and modern homestay, with a jungle setting amidst a 225 acre coffee estate in Coorg. Honey Pot is one of the high quality accommodations offered by Mahindra Homestays. As can be seen from the photo, it has a charming tree house nestled into the plantation, which guests can dine in.
