Visiting the Ellora Caves? It's Festival Time in Aurangabad!

If you're going to be visiting the incredible Ellora and Ajanta Caves in the next couple of weeks, make sure you spend some time in nearby Aurangabad. The city, which is the closest base for the Ellora Caves, is holding two festivals.

The Aurangabad Shilpotsav is a new 10 day folk art and handicraft festival, which kicked off yesterday. Meanwhile the Ellora Ajanta Festival is in its seventh year this year, with music and dance performances running for four days from November 28, 2008.

It's a great opportunity to get a dose of Indian culture!
