Royal Rajasthan on Wheels to Start from January 11, 2009

India's newest and most luxurious tourist train, the Royal Rajasthan on Wheels, is all set to start running from January 11, 2009. The train was originally expected to commence operations from October 2008, but January 2009 has now been confirmed for its maiden journey.

The Royal Rajasthan on Wheels provides an attractive alternative to the heavily booked Palace on Wheels. As its name suggests, it tours through Rajasthan stopping at many of the most popular places including the "pink city" of Jaipur, as well as the Taj Mahal in Agra. It's a great way of seeing India's Golden Triangle and more in style!
