Kaya Kalp Spa in Agra Rated "World's Best City Spa"

Sunday September 28, 2008

Kaya Kalp -- The Royal Spa at the ITC Mughal Hotel in Agra -- hasn't even been open for six months and it's already winning awards. Tatler Magazine in the UK has just rated it as the "World's Best City Spa", which is an impressive achievement.

Opulence can be found in every corner of the spa, including its extensive gardens, rich Mughal inspired interiors, and Pomegranate theme. It's also the first spa in India to offer hamam Turkish baths. What's really pleasing is that the treatments are quite reasonably priced for such a sumptuous spa. Two and a half hour Spa Journey packages cost around $150. Romantic three hour packages for couples are on offer as well, for around $350.

If you're not planning on heading to Agra and the Taj Mahal but still want a spa experience, there are plenty more top luxury spas to choose from all over India.
