What's Your Favorite India Travel Destination?

I’ve been fortunate to visit many different places in India over the years, but I headed north to the mountains in Manali for the first time last year. I went there after spending eight months taking care of a small guest house in a beach town of Kerala -- right at the opposite end of the country.

After traveling by train and bus for three days, the contrast was incredible. I went from being surrounded by coconut palms, to having a pristine view of the Himalayas. I seriously had a hard time believing that I was still in the same country! My friends and family were equally amazed by the photos I sent – they had no idea that everywhere in India could be so different. This is part of India’s appeal though, and is what gives it the ability to reward its visitors with such unique travel experiences.

I’d love to know what attracts you to India the most, so I’ve created a poll especially. The results will also enable me to provide you with more content that's of interest. I know it can be difficult to choose just one answer (I myself can’t!) so I’ve included an option for all of them.
